What is योगासन योग आसन ?

Yoga is a spiritual process in India and Nepal in which the work of bringing the body, mind and soul together (yoga) is done. This word, process and perception is related to the meditation process in Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism. The word Yoga has spread from India to Buddhism as well as China, Japan, Tibet, Southeast Asia and Sri Lanka and at this time people are familiar with it all over the civilized world.

For the first time after so much fame, on December 11, 2014, the United Nations General Assembly recognized June 21 as World Yoga Day every year. Bhagavad Gita is considered to be a prestigious book. The word yoga has been used many times in it, sometimes alone and sometimes adjectives, such as buddhi yoga, sannyasa yoga, karma yoga. The names Bhakti Yoga and Hatha Yoga have also become popular in the post-Vedic period. Mahatma Gandhi has practiced Anasakti Yoga. The word Kriya Yoga is seen in Patanjali Yogadarshan. There are also episodes of words like Pashupat Yoga and Maheshwar Yoga. The meanings of the word yoga in all these places are contradictory to each other, but looking at such different experiments makes it clear that it is a difficult task to define yoga. The definition should be such that it is free from infestation and overlapping defects, can indicate a sign of the meaning of the word yoga that is suitable for every context and not suitable for anything other than yoga.

The actions and asanas of doing yoga are called yogaasanas. In the rigveda, the first book of the world, there is a mention about yogic actions in many places.
